Anakratis - Kind of Lost [MAJOR WIP]

Hey guys, here's a song that has been taking my time for about a week now. I know I'm suppose to be working on my other songs, but new stuff keeps popping up in my head and I have to get them down on Ableton, because if I don't, I'll forget about the melody in my head haha.

Anyways, any comments or feedback is accepted.

I don't know, all of it just screams "this has been done way too many times before" - there's no real catchy element to it.

Also, even though the pads in the break sound nice the whole break in itself is way too long. Kills the track completely.

I think this one is still very much at the 'collection of ideas' stage and i'd agree that there's no real hook there yet.

That background arp that comes in at about 0.50 should be worked on and brought forward I think.

It's good that there's plenty of ideas coming onto your head though. Best way to work I say

A lot of times I just get something in my head, and realize I have to create it in Ableton. Sometimes it turns out good and sometimes it doesn't. I'll see what I can do with it

Anakratis - let me just tell you man, that I'm spending lots of time reviewing tens of different track all over web - commenting on almost all of them - this is brilliant (for 16 years old) and you doing much better than some of us here on TA. ON top of this you are design/create sound bank for Sylenth1 - bloody impressive man.

This track have (only IMO) all of the aspect/potential of great track. I notice that this track has three parts to it not fully develop yet but the idea (in those three parts) is really good my friend, so keep going with this development, stay positive and finish it - good things happen to good (and hard working) people

alright, to prevent anymore confusion, let me just say this lol:

the clicks in the song, are NOT part of the song. they're just there as temporary bridges between the parts. of course i'll be adding tons of stuff in between, but the clicks are only there as temporary bridges

You are making a Sylenth1 soundbank, huh? Are you going to sell it?

I've been planning to release one myself and already got bunch of crazy presets ready which I have never really used myself. You know if there are any profit to make from it?
