pop culture....wtf?!

I dont get all these talentless ugly broads like kesha and gaga and shit like this. like wtf????

how much has pop culture changed. Once upon a time it took talent to be a pop star you had to be able to perform. sing dance and look somewhat good. we had our michael jacksons madonnas etc.

then we hit the 90's and 2000's and you no longer needed talent but you needed to look hot. We got our spice girls and our britney spears. and it wa oskay if you were talentless because at least you had some sex appeal and everyone wanted to bone you.

Now we've gotten to a point where not only do you not have to be talented, but you have dont even have to look good either. any fuckin shlep mook can become an overnight popstar. which is great in some ways but in other ways it sucks. here we have all the ugly shleps in the spotlight and its giving ugly people around the world a false sense of worth. Because they see ugly dogs on tv and theyre ugly dogs they think ugly dogs is in, so now you got all these fuckin ugly dogs who arent shit thinking theyre somehting. its the old pump n dump game....get back to eating ice cream you fuckin shleps! tell me how chicks like kesha and fuckin gaga got popular...only ugly chicks like them thats how!

how the hell is Madonna more talentd than Gaga. They are the same type exactly, just different generations. Seriously, nothings changed, nothing will change. People who talk about how it was, how much talent there was in the 80's are merely nostalgic for that era, yet for them the 50's probably did not exits ,'the 60's' is a fairytale, the 70's was just a decade without music, and LOA AND BEHOLD, in the 80's did man manufacture a marvelous new thing MUSIC. it doesnt take talent to copy what someone else did, but it does take talent to be the first to do it

I'm just kinda curious how you would come up with that conclusion, how many "tough guys" have you met off the internet and got to experience their dicks?.

yet another complain about this, seriously. people needs to get in their heads that since the 70's, there have been people with brains making brainless music for brainless people sung by people who appear to be brainless but actually have some brain matter. it's the nostalgia goggles who make people think it was always better in the days of yore.

What? Pop music has never been a source of real talent, it's nothing more than a cycle of artists. What happens is some new talent bursts on to the scene, has their fame, then when no one wants to hear them anymore, some other "next big thing" takes their place. The only people who complain about pop are the people who are already past the age when they thought pop was good even though it wasn't actually good, it's just what was popular for their generation. This all really started after Michael Jackson and is bound to repeat itself indefinitely.

all im saying is that pop stars these days are fuckin ugly compared to pop stars back in the day. I still think pop stars had more talent back in the 80's, there was no computer generating/fixing your voice.
