I'm currently using ableton and was wondering if anyone knows how to create that pitch rising sound used mostly in the end of the break to make the build up more intense , also would love it if anyone told me what is the proper name of this effect/sound

Yeah I used to do that, but I have found that certain synths have a limit on how large the range you can set on the pitch bend wheel. Some are limited to 1 or 2 octaves, so if you want to do a 4 or 6 octave sweep like on the video, sometimes you cant to it using the pitch wheel because the range is limited.

So I switched to the Mod Env method.

Turn up portamento all of the way. Play a note, with a slightly delay play the second note at a higher pitch.

Are you using Operator?

If so the pitch envelope is your best bet. It is around 60 seconds long and runs over 8 octaves so you draw in the exact slope you want there. If you start the pitch bend in the root key of your track and also finish in the root key it should (famous last words) sit nicely with the track.

This is called a pitch-sweep or noise-sweep.
My preferred way is as Eric said, use a modulation enveloppe.

The other easy way is to automate the Cutoff frequenty on your filter.
