Calgary - All day All Night House Party - August 9th? Possible Date change!

August 16th - THE summer bash

This is for anyone / everyone out in Calgary. I have been hoping to host a massive end of Summer bash for sometime, and just found the perfect location in which to do so.
I am planning it to be an all day all night party with about a million things to keep everyone occupied. During the day, swimming in an outdoor pool, competitive events, drinking (duh!) chillin, live bands, and just plain relaxin and enjoying yourself in the sun. At night, a massive bbq, bonfire,hot tub (+ drinking!) and evening sporting events. Once the sun sets, I pull out the DJ gear and spin a massive summer set.
This is going to be THE summer party (I hope!). The location is just outside of Calgary (15 mins) and there will be locations to pitch tents on the party grounds so everyone can crash without worrying about driving home sloshed.
This is a pretty well a private event for me, friends, and friends friends, but I would love for any and all Calgary tranceaddicts to come out also. Contact me via this message board, PM, or through [email protected] for more information as the date draws near. The more people, the better. Hope to see you there!

MAJOR change might be in the works

Well shit this is good and bad. I just got a message from a good friend and my sister that they can't make the August 16th date. While I hate proposing this at such a late time, I am considering chaging the party to one week sooner - to be on Friday August 9th. Everything else remains the same. Everyone who was going to come - please confirm that this date will be ok. Once I get confirmations from everyone, I will officially change the date to the 9th. If no one can make this date, obviously we go ahead as schedualed on the 16th. Its gonna be HUGE!
As well, all you tranceaddicts that are going to Tiesto that could'nt make this house party can now come for the 9th! Please post replies via this forum, pm, or phone (280-9721) so I know which way to go. Sorry for the extra headaches guys, just want AS MANY people as possible to be able to make it, and we still have two weeks

unfortunetely, the date is set, and out of my hands.
so for anyone who won't be making it out to Tiesto, I can promise a good time on the 16th that includes beer music and women. Just no Tiesto : / Just too bad about those dates clashing. Oh well - shit happens

Awesome! Sounds great guys- remember, bring as many people as you want. This is gonna be good. I still have to check up on sound laws in urban areas and talk with the neighbours (ack neighbours) but hopefully we can pull some string for this night. As it stands, I am spinning cd-cd cuz I'm cheap and don't have any vinyl / decks, but I am renting some killer cd mixers, and may get some tech's for you Shockwave if they aren't too expensive. As usual, more details to follow...

And since Im not there, means my tables arent going to be there either. Tony asked, and if I knew more ppl than him there I might consider it, but it is a hefty investment, and only knowing him @ a 'large' houseparty doesnt sit well in my stomach.
