Looks like PVD will coming down to miami after his electric zoo performance. I was on his site today and I saw that he is listed to play at Mansion on Sept 5. I wonder how come it's Mansion and not Space?. Either way I'm dissapointed that it's on the same weekend, I would've liked to see him at both events =/

wow im shocked. well, not that shocked. i guess space finally decided to ditch the last of its trance acts. end of an era. so many awesome shows i saw there. its kinda sad.

i wonder if mansion will charge their regular $20 for this or if they bump up their prices.

The last time I saw PVD at a club other than space, was July 08 @ Cameo. But even then he did space after hours. I know he likes to play there but was he actually exclusive to space? If not for that, it just looks like Mansion was smart and decided to book him since he was already in NY. I have a limited amount of knowledge when it comes to bookings and related things, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope this signals the start of a booking war between Mansion & Space, because we will benefit if such is the case. And it's been a while since Mansion has booked trance. So maybe they are getting the picture & will start mixing it up with more variety and trance

I could of sworn PVD was on an exclusivity contract with Space, maybe thats finished now. Either way Space is just going downhill the past couple of months. Hell its not even really a Terrace anymore and its super dark when the sun is out. Just a weird vibe going on in there. Wonder how much longer they'll be around

Oh and what's wrong with wanting more dancefloor & less VIP when booking an act like PvD? If Space is packed wall to wall and much bigger how will Mansion be being much smaller with more than half the dancefloor occupied by VIP? lol but ok I guess that's just being "bitchy"

I don't really have a lot of money to blow on events, so if I had to choose it would definitely be trance/house events (in that order) If There are other EDM events where there isn't a cover then I'll check them out. I guess I'm a music snob (I'm accepting donations in order to expand my musical tastes )
