I just got home, and then sun starting to get brighter.....all I can say is wow....for everyone in main room....OLLIVER KILLED IT, but so did everyone else

interesting night @ guv.

Lawler's openers == garbage. Stop putting your hands up thinking you're good....cuz you sucked badly.

Lawler overall was good. His 1st half had lots of tribal influences. I wish he would have pushed the pace and made the place explode. Unfortunately, i dont recall a time losing my shit over what he was playing. I didn't attempt to venture up to skybar for his 2nd set....no patience for it. Left at 4:15 ish i think.

Security was on point last night. So many pple getting kicked out. 2 notorious ones were from the both we danced by all night. 1st one harassed the living of a fellow TA and wanted to pick a fight....security noticed and pulled him out ...... in a headlock

2nd one was a meathead and his bimbo. She walked in the guys bathroom pissed, he follows, they fight a bit, she smacks him the face....he whacks the living out of her. Security guy was right in the bathroom and took care of it....10 more guards came within 10 seconds lol

The crowd overall was just horrible. Standing zombies and elbowing drones....and the infamous markham families

I think ill stick to small places like footwork !

Many of the usual characters were missing but there were enough other characters to make it quite the experience. lol

...also saw two faces I hadn't seen in years which was a nice surprise

top notch beats in all the rooms..The ones I enjoyed the most were Mark,Joel and Ovi and of course Steve Lawler in the main room
didn't have anymore energy left to stay for the sunrise set...

Openers: I don't think I've yet witnessed a worse opening act. Monotonous, weak programming anyone?

Lawler = boring as hell. Couple choice tracks intermixed in anti-climactic so-so.

Ovi = sweet, nasty beats

Gallery = Lots of fantastic tracks throughout the night.

Overall, what a sad waste of a night - especially considering I chose this over j00f. Bad call of the year

Everyone here knows my opinion on Lawler's performances in the last coupla years..

But last night he was much better than he has been...

Before he was a consistent 2/10 but last night was a solid 7...

As for his openers...the were a -3... fuckin Waldo hipster douchebag...

I had an ok time... Better than expected...

Lisa and Ian, great to finally meet you officially...

I think thats pretty stupid thing to say, besides the fact they didnt play tribal stuff like lawler, they played pretty much the same style..... big bass....

I liked what i heard from these two on the Skybar MUCH better than what I heard downstairs in the mainroom. They are good producers and decent djs, however that stuff before lawler was slow, monotonous and completely unentertaining.
