Need some tips from someone in the Club/Bar Scene

Just recently received my SmartServe. I also completed the Bartending School of Ontario 2 week program this past week. Would like to know if anyone is looking for a bartender. Quasi-muscular attractive guy. European looking.

Appreciate any tips, as getting my feet in the door is somewhat bothersome having no previous experience.

Thanks.

I got my SmartServe and my Bartending School of Ontario certificate too, no one is gonna hire you with no experience. Especially if you're a guy. You have to start off as a server in a restaurant or a barback in a club then work your way up. Clubs or bars are way too intense for someone with no experience. You might get lucky and land a job but the manager will see how bad you'll do and you won't be coming back.

Quoted for truth.

Your best bet would be to start in a sports bar. That way you'll have some crazy-as-all-fuck busy nights, and some slower ones to help you get used to dealing with the rush.

Thanks Ear, Vince for the tips. You gave me a good mindset and saved me disappointment.

Also, thanks to the trash that posted absolutely useless comments which demonstrates their existence in life. Would also like to thank these tools as they have saved me from future disappointment in actually creating a thread requiring mature comments. Clearly this is not the place. Looks like I'll stay away from this shit board for another three years.

You can get a job easy, just dress in really tight pants with no shirt and walk down Chursh St on Sunday afternoon. Wait for someone to offer you money....done!
