Fine here. I didn't feel shaking or rumbling...I had the tv on and was making lunch, so to me it sounded like there was a strong wind blowing, or a big truck passing along the street. Alas there was no wind at the time. I thought "wtf?", and then I go on Facebook and see all my friends' statuses, heh.

I was in a meeting... thought I was having a muscle spasm, didn't even stop talking. It was a pretty nothing event.

Posted by jonSun on Jun-23-2010 18:26:

It was a heck of a quake because we felt it all the way in Chicago. Half the cities power is out & it's total mayhem.

EARTHQUAKE WARINING~!

Posted by malek on Jun-23-2010 19:35:

I thougth it was a train or big Truck passing by, but after 10 seconds, i clicked, i'm on the 13th floor and that doesn't make any sense. Then someone said Earthquake which then maked sense lol.

I was walking from my car to the building and felt nothing.

One of my friends' fishtank fell on the ground though
fishy died

Its the Canadian government testing out their new toy to get rid of protestors or the protestors got their hands on the drill that did the tunnel for England-France (in reference to Oceans 13)

One thing I did not feel anything and I was on the 7th floor of 70s style concrete building. Guess I was way to occupied running around trying to get shit done

I hope the next one will be like 7.0. Lets see Quebec roads and highways withstand that kind of magnitude lol

woke me up in hamilton, shaking had stopped by the time i gained consciousness though. judging from the videos and what i heard it was the same as the one i remember from around '96-'98 which was also a non-event...

Posted by Ian on Jun-24-2010 09:22:

they're rare there so like when we had one of about 4.5 it was more the fact we'd had one for the first time in years than the strength of it that people were talking aboot.
