Your best bet is to show up to the dock early. You won't be able to get a ticket from a promoter but on every cruise there's always a somebody stuck with an extra ticket because their friend bailed. You would have to get a resold ticket.

to add to that, strangely enough, we ALWAYS have some ticket holders not even show. My guess is they went out the night before and slept in. On average it's probably about 10-15 people, though it's been as high as 28 once.
