). The Latin culture is very rich (more than 6 languages different points of view - plus, Spanish and Portuguese are among the top ten most spoken languages: not all Spanish speaking people share the very same values and stuff). | quote: |

estoy en el segundo ao de una gran escuela para intrpretes.
estudio francs y espaol. sera muy interesante tener un foro con slamente hispanohablantes, estudiar una lengua es sobre todo estar en contacto con los habitantes del pas donde se habla esta lengua.

ummmm...no.
when you call someone a latino you are referring to a person of a spanish or portugese speaking origin.
In italy they speak ITALIAN. Yes spanish, portugese and italian all have close lating origins, but that doesn't make italy a latino country :P
Latin: This word comes from Lazio - the region where Rome is located, therefore, Italy MUST be a latin country. All countries that speak a neo-latin language is a latin country (except for those in Africa where people were forced to speak these languages even though, they're not ethnic latin...)
Maaz' concept of Latin countries:
In Europe: Portugal, Spain (except for Euskadi), Rumania, France, Italy, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican.
In America: All countries, except those that have English or Dutch as official languages.
Funny thing... I've got Italian blood and I'm latin
