possibly worst remix ever....

i went clubbing saturday night in san francisco and while i was at this club (just some regular club.... not spundae or anything) the dj had the balls to remix Paul Van Dyk - for an angel with delireum - Silence (tiesto remix).... omg wtf was he tripping on. I mean its not like he was mixing it in towards the end of the track but he mixed it together. I mean for sure he wasn't a great dj but geez....

dunno if this is relevant, at a rave party this past saturday, this trance dj threw down gouryella - walhalla...which was good. THEN he followed that with gouryella - tenshi, i figured maybe he was just a big tiesto/corsten fan and wanted ppl to think the same....BUT THEN he had the balls or level of stupidity to follow that with, yup, u guessed it, gouryella - gouryella. correct me if i'm wrong as i'm a fairly newbie dj, but who the HELL plays THREE songs by the same producer!?!?

the funny thing is if you go out on vacation to a place not very popular (like not ibiza or salou or anything') but a small town and you go to the disco there, you'll get a good laugh!!

last year i went on a vacation with a couple of friends and we went to this disco and the dj was like playing a track and during the whole track he was doing what looked like beatmatching.. but on the end of the tune it was like.. zip the other track no mixing what so ever!! and the beats didn't even have the same speed!!

my own bad dj story:

some party here at my place. poor comercial tracks he starts to play. he keeps going with those craps tracks for around 2 hours when from the middle of nothing comes Robert Miles - Children (original). Couldn't believe my ears! when the starts starts fading I can hear some weird drums coming on.. (what is this?!).. soon I realized it was the crappiest annoying latin track that has been played in every single party in the last year around here.

Worst remix. I know what that is.

A while a ago i went to a club in sydney and the worlds worst dj played a hard shit house remix of ac/dc (yes the band), thunderstruck. It's a woeful remix and i was searching for something to throw at the bitch who played it. I was stunned. Worst part was a smartarse friend found it in a shop and bought it for me. I might put it on ebay and pay someone to take it off me. If you hear it run. Run. Run.

If there was a smilie pukeing i'd put him here now.

well, I personally wouldn't mix all the gouryella songs one after another.. But they are all the same style, so they would mix nicely and sound pretty good.

And besides, its gouryella, how can you complain about hearing these 3 tracks?? they're so good.

I recently got walhalla on vinyl in a 2 vinyl limited remix collection, there's some pretty crazy mixes there.
