Let's talk vodka

Tito's Handmade. I give it two thumbs up. I'm normally a Stoli man, but Tito's just may change my brand.

Belvedere. But only the first couple of drinks.. after a few it doesn't really matter, it all tastes the same.

Russian Standard.

Not the strongest tasting vodka gong around (not necessarily a bad thing), but whats there is great and it woops the pants off every other brand you can buy here.

I've always enjoyed the Absolut Pear.

I think ive drunk every vodka available in Australia and absolut is the best ive come across.

Let's talk Patron.

Posted by Zoso on Jul-05-2010 01:56:

I guess it's been 10 years since I had any Absolut. I should give it another go, maybe. But I have to say Tito's is motherfuckingsmooth...

Finlandia

Posted by Ania_xox on Jul-05-2010 02:24:

I went to a vodka bar called Pravda last week and tried 8 different types of vodka... my original opinion remains:

Nothing beats Grey Goose

Though Wyborowa is a close second

Also, I rarely drink Smirnoff, but I've had tasty experiences with it.

Posted by corjay9 on Jul-05-2010 02:24:

I never drink vodka.. but when I do, I drink Belvedere.

Seriously, vodka sucks. I'll drink a vodka cranberry if I have to, but my weapon of choice is definitely gin. Gin anything.. tonic, seven up, lemonaide, grape juice, cranberry juice, hell even G2 gatorade is amazing with gin. Bombay ftw..

Not even a debate.

Hands down, Beluga Gold Line

or

Debowa Black

Posted by SPACEMASTERS on Jul-05-2010 02:44:

1) Belvedere Or Grey Goose
2) Absolute

Posted by JD8180 on Jul-05-2010 02:49:

if drinking vodka straight (yuck) I feel grey goose/belvedere go down the smoothest, but when making actual drinks I feel absolut tastes best.

and I'd like to make note that I haven't really ventured outside of the commercial standards here in the US much.

My usual "go to" bottle is Stoli, but if you're in the mood for top notch quality, this is where you must turn. (Ania, sorry but fuck that Grey Goose noise!).

/\ Jewel of Russia Ultra

/\ absulotely sick vodka right there... infused with birch blossom sap. brought some back from overseas, but can't get any new while in the states since it's made in Belarus.
