Repulsive furniture

is there anything more repulsive than computer tables when it comes to furniture? sure, you have your tacky lamp shades, piss-coloured kitchen cabinets and ugly paintings, but there's just something about computer tables that makes me violently sick.

if you could draw your interpretation of them, it would be much appreciated. then I would be repulsed.

Too little Ikea for you my dear neighbour.

i agree those are seriously lacking any kind of inspired design. but i am sure you could find a functional computer table that is not repulsive (and let me know if you find one because i need one for my house).

The cabinets here are a total eyesore. Other than that the desk is decent, despite being a really tiresome color. I'd much rather build my own cabinets above the desk, if any.

I've also got a nice glass desk from Ikea and it's far more cool than a 100 % wooden one.

i personally have to have a keyboard tray. i get really bad knots in my back if my workstation is not set up ergonomically for me.

i have my grandfathers lazy boy from the_80's.

i killed him.

Posted by JEO on Jul-08-2010 09:28:

What you need from a computer desk is horizontal space. Now just where do you keep your mouse on a trash can like that?

Shit like this is horrible.

I like how it has a courtesy potty.

It's the same with everything in life imo.

Practicality and aesthetics are always inversely related.

That's why Pie is so good at her job.
