The "Original" Version of Traktor - Anyone Know It?
Anyone have the original silver and blue Traktor or know it? There are too many DJ Scratch versions of Traktor out but I'm talking about the original. It's Traktor v.3. or something of the sort. The very first release.

Version 1 is the "original" Traktor.

original traktor was the shit! I learned to mix on that thing, so much fun...I would lock myself in my bedroom in highschool and perfect the art of mixing with a keyboard and mouse for hours on end. the filters sounded great back then...too much fun.
Wow...looks a lot different now

Lots of people stayed with a 5 year old version of Traktor, 2.5 or 2.6, for several years after newer versions came out, even though those same people bought the updates to try them out and to support the NI company.
I always found 2.53 was just easier and more fun to use than the newer versions in terms of user interface design. The newer versions always seemed cumbersome and forced you to look at the screen too much, and for certain things you had to remember which "mode" you were in (modeless designs are better).
I've got high hopes for the latest version however. Might as well go with the flow. Got the latest version from NI but haven't had time to use it, and got to install a new notebook hard drive and convert the old music collection, which has thousands of beatgridded tracks.

Did you mean the new Traktor that will probably be released along with the new controller Dubfire has been trying out? As talked about here:

From the official NI forums it seems nobody really knows or is telling when the stuff will be released. The fact that they're showing now might mean it's almost ready. But I know in the past when NI was coming out with major new products, there were long delays as they tested and made revisions. So it could be anywhere from 2 to 6 months would be my guess.
