What's with all the reality TV nowadays??

I hardly watch TV anymore but whenever I watch re runs of Friends, Simpsons or Seinfeld, I always see ads for these new reality TV shows. It's gone WAY to far. Anyone else agree??? This may not apply to must of you since it's stations like CBS, FOx, ABC etc etc

you know what the weirdest reality show is? (the only one i've seen, actually) it's that "i bet you will" thing on mtv. just watching college students make complete asses out of themselves for beer money is so... i dunno, wrong... bleh, i say.

I thought the first season was good but I haven't watched it this year. The same can be said for Big Brother.

all these "reality" tv shows annoy the hell outa me. leave a group of people on a small deserted island n come back for them 6 months later to see who's still alive.. or a "reality" tv show based ont he running man..that i'd watch and bet on! lol.

The reason why there are so many reality shows is that they are cheap to make and the network's still can get high ratings (i.e. more advertising money). It's all about the profit!
