Commonly pronounced 'duck' it's actually referred to as a DUKW amphibious vehicle, developed in WWII to land troops on beaches.

ive never ridden the duck, and probably never will. though i enjoy seeing them around old city. A BOAT THAT TRANSFORMS INTO A BUS. good heavens what will they think of next?

Seattle has their own set of ducks; they drive through the city tremendously slow and are really, really fucking obnoxious. They are the bane of my existence.
