"Life" - [House] 126 BPM - Full Track

Hi all, got a few tweaks to do yet but would appreciate your comments and thoughts so far. Thanks

Nice track. The mix is excellent. I wanted, however, for the hi-mid synth part playing the slow arpeggio to progress into a little more complexity but that's just my personal tick. Definitely worth down-loading.

I like the flavor of the mix. In the middle section it's not obvious what the focus of the track is. A lot of the elements aren't grooving with each other. It sounds like you have a bunch of disco elements you cut and pasted together, and then you got to some parts and you thought, "I need to add more shit on top!"

if i was being really picky then the build up was a bit rough but you got the main part right i was tapping my toes so just need to work on the build up stage and bingo

Cool track, Justin! I really like it once it gets going with the vocal samples, etc. Groovy bass line as well. My only two nits are that (1) it seemed to take too long to build into the track (just a personal preference thing, though) and (2) I think it could benefit from relaxing the claps a little bit - they seem to be playing just enough ahead of the beat to throw the groove off, particularly in the beginning when only the drums & bass were playing. Other than those two minor crits, I really dug this. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback guys, great help.

Eddie - Indeed mate I might give that a go.

Beatflux - ha you're right, I had the same thoughts. Think i'll tweaked some parts.

owien & cryophonik - You're both right about the build up, was a little rushed. Will also look into those claps.

I just noticed the bass is distorting so will fix that.

Will update asap and repost.
