Last summer vs. This summer

Which summer do you think had better musik being made, produced, released at the time? I was listening to some old MP3's in my car tonite... and they aren't all from last summer, some are spring releases... but it seems as if last summer better musik was plenitful. Some tracks that I was enjoying tonite...

Exor - The Bells
Dumonde vs. Lange - Memory
Push - The Legacy
Paul van Dyk - Columbia
Binary Finary - Niterider(Ca-Los Mix)

...that's all I can remember hearign at the moment, but it definitely seems that there were more quality tracks last summer. Not to take anything away from 2002, but since June/July of this year... things have seemed to slow down just a bit. I think when the summer hits, usually most of the big name DJ's concentrate on the summer parties in Ibiza, and summer tours around the globe. Anyone agree or disagree???

Three Drives - Carrera 2
Solar Stone - Solarcoaster
Exposure - Magic Impuls
Oceanlab ft Justine Suissa - Sky Falls Down
Sunset Drive - Does It Really Matter?
Gouryella - Ligaya
MSP ft. Sholan - Can U Feel? (Thrillseekers Mix)

To name a few. I'd say there has been plenty of quality productions in the past couple months.

This year is much better than last year...there's still a ton of good releases that haven't come out yet.

WTF man...why do people look back and say "xx year was better than this year"...Its prolly cuz your coming down off a six month binge and feel like shit..There are lots of wikked tunes this summer.

Quit sketchin' and you'll see!

Someone with a good taste Too bad the C&S one still isn't released...

But definitely, I agree with InfiniteSquare, why should one want to compare different years to see which one was better? I really don't see the use of that.. It's almost as lame as judging a DJ because he plays tracks that were released last year (or even just a few months ago).. If the songs fit, why not?

So far I'd have to say this summer and with Ligaya remixes and other tunez coming I think many would agree .
