how do i get like the drum loop to show up phyically at the bottom where you can edit it.

Assuming that you mean Propellerheads Reason program, are you talking about the Redrum or the Dr. Rex? Both operations are pretty much the same:

-mouseclick on Redrum/Recyle to the left of the sequencer lane

-now right click on the rack device itself and from the list that appears select "copy pattern to track" (Redrum) or "copy rex loop to track" (for Dr. Rex).

-now you should find the notes in the sequencer lane and be able to edit them.
