your biggest problem?
with your production what would you say is your biggest problem so far?
for me its turning my 8 or 16 bar loops into full arrangements...
i can get a nice groove going with some percussion...a nice bassline..and a melody..just fine..but so far i lack the skills to to turn them into full songs... but i have learned that it will just come with experience and time.
not knowing/ understanding sound synthesis
i have many problems but as we are talking about music now i will say my main issue is i think way to much about my work to the point where im heading straight to dry town.
Too many projects and commitments and not enough time. I manage to work it out somehow, but there is always pressure to get it done on time.
Shitty effects and percussion...

My problem was that I had too many synths, although I'm sure that some people would disagree. I'm using two at the most right now and I'm better off than ever.

Inspiration has dried up completely. Sucks.
I know, it's a poor workman who blames his tools, but, honestly, my biggest obstacles right now are a mounting collection of technical issues relating to my computer and incompatibility with certain VST's I'd really like to be running.

My biggest problem is understandng everything a little bit as opposed to studying something and mastering it before moving to the next thing.

its got to be percusion for me to, im a bit lazy with it and relly on melodies, im gonna have a bash at getting the percusion to really drive my next track along with the bassline of course
My problem used to be not finishing songs. Now I can finish songs. My current problem is that I get physically uncomfortable looking at my sequencer, I just can't open it.

producing tracks with nothing but a mouse - no MIDI controllers involved. i really need one of them to play with things a bit more.
Creating emotional and atmospheric Pads.... and putting the song together in general. I feel like I can get all the part down well, just the arrangement and transitions get me some times...
