What's the last full album you listened to?

I like listening to whole albums, as I think they give me a better picture of where an artist was and what they were doing at a specific time.

So I thought it'd be cool to have a thread in which you could post what the last album you listened to the whole way through, and maybe a bit about it.

Last full album I listened to was Jeff Buckley's Grace.

That voice.. One of the finest you will ever hear. I have a deep appreciation for the lyrics. Standout tracks being Mojo Pin and Lover, You Should've Come Over.
I've heard this album in its entirety dozens of times, A great album regardless of how many times you hear it, albeit a bit depressing.

The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free

Listening to individual tracks is something I haven't done habitually for quite some years. Not to put my nose up too high or something, but I almost always listen to an entire album all the way through if I am going to sit down and really listen to music. You either appreciate an artist's work in its entirety, or you just buzz from melody to melody, looking for what sounds catchy to your self-appropriated "sensibilities" at the time; though I suspect this is how all of us came to be together on a trance music site in the first place.

//Oh right. The last album I listened to was Coil's Astral Disaster. Hence the sig of wordiness.

Tosca - No Hassle

Shad - TSOL

The Raveonettes - Pretty in Black today for like the 100th time probably.

I almost always listen to full albums. A lot of the bands I like tend to be the ones that still believe in doing something decent across the entire length of the album.

Yoav - A Foolproof Escape Plan

Saw him live, too. Great talent.

No, they dont. Mix CDs are not albums. Albums should only be considered works by a single artist. Throwing in DJ mixes is like going "Oh yea I listen to So and So's greatest hits album all the way through"

WELL NOT SHIT YOU DID CAUSE EACH OF THOSE SONGS IS GOOD.

It says nothing about the quality of an album if you listened all the way through a mix album because almost all the songs are by different artists and are chosen because they are GOOD.

Good point. But this is an EDM forum after all so I decided that they count. And it's MY thread so I make the rules.

But good point.

Semantics, Joss. They are mix albums, which is still an album.

It said album, not artist album, in the first post. So suck it

Last ARTIST ALBUM I listened to was L.S.G.'s amazing "Into Deep"

I'm aware, which is why I sympathized and let him win. And I'm really not in the mood to argue over semantics on the interwebs.

And omg jdat lives!!!

Fatboy Slim - Better Living Through Chemistry
