Hard-trance, need feedback

So from the best of my knowledge, this new track I finished is closer to hard-trance than it is to trance, and I'd LOVE some feedback

the fundamental kick and bass groove is missing. It sounds incredibly thin. Your rhythm disappears when the doubling melody comes in. You need to use compression to keep this under control. All the synths are very brash and ear piercing. The actual sound is very dated ala 2001. The beginning and end are not very dj friendly or inspiring for that matter. I also wouldn't call this hard.

Plus the highs are too high and it sounds like there is some unwanted pumping going on.
