If they're treating it like a common law marriage wouldn't that constitute de facto bigamy? Or are the laws there a little more loose, if you know what I mean?

In Australia it's not the laws that are loose my friend

This law is fair as long as women can be held just as accountable as men. Although it's a sorry state of affairs I must say.
