LSD doesn't work for me

First here is some other related background:

The first time I popped an E, nothing happened.
The second time I took a pill, I had smoked a bunch of weed before hand and a short time later I was flying. So from then on I decided I would just smoke weed before hand to "activate" it. For the next few times if I popped a pill nothing would happen until I smoked weed. As the weed wore off, the pill would kick in. However, I went to a few large raves many years ago, and I had to wait in line for a long time and could not smoke weed anywhere near the venue, too much security. I took a pill when we got in with all my friends and nothing happened all night. I had a cigarette near the end of the night and I'm not a smoker, but suddenly I felt a small buzz. So the rave ended at 7am, and I got to our car and smoked some weed to put me to sleep, but suddenly I was floored on my pill from 7 ours ago. Not really what I wanted at that time. Since then I've done mdma many times and it always works, but I am always drinking/smoking weed at the same time.

So then a year or so later I decided to try acid at a summer festival. I put two hits on my tongue, waited a long time, nothing happened. I had a small amount of weed, so I went and smoked it in my car. Every time I exhaled I could start to feel the LSD buzz and see shapes in my car changing and morphing, that lasted 5-10 minutes and then I was pretty much back to normal.

Now two weekends ago I was at a festival and took some acid with my friends, it was mild, but I did two hits, they did one. I smoked some weed but still felt nothing while they were trippin. Then like 5 hours later I was chillin alone and I suddenly I felt an LSD buzz come on quick, everything started to look really cool and then as quick as it came it was gone. after maybe 5 minutes. Someone even gave me 4 hits on the last night, said it was mild, but 4 should make me trip. Nothing happened!

I was at a festival again last weekend and took acid 3 different times and felt nothing.

So, can someone be immune to acid? Is the fact that I seem to have more trouble than most getting high on mdma related? Can I just over-think and ignore, or disallow drugs to take effect? I have however been super high on mushrooms many times and so I thought maybe it had something to do with chemical drugs. I am going to another festival in 2 weeks, should I just start with 6 hits all at once? If nothing happens then I give up!

You don't "buzz" on acid. You're either way on it, or not. Nor does it last for 5-10 minutes. It's very likely that you got sold bogus acid both times.

This is coming up on 10 times now, at various times and festivals, others taken the same batches got an effect I did not.....

But that's what I'm getting at... It's been about ten separate occasions, many different batches, a couple times the guy has even gave some one for free. Once or twice, sure I got ripped off, but when your friends are high on the SAME stuff, then what is my deal? Why won't acid work on me?

Idk, that doesn't make any sense then. It's very obvious when you're tripping acid, your vision is distorted and your sense of reality is completely skewed. You should be able to tell. You're saying you took the same doses that everyone else did, and they were tripping balls but not you? Are you sure it was the same stuff? You would think that out of 10 separate occasions it would have worked.

Maybe it has always been bunk and your silly friends are just stoned/drunk and placebo trippin. Where did citric acid go? I could swear she had some imbalance that caused most psycotropics to have little to no effect on her.

Also, if you don't properly care for the doses before you down 'em, the lsd can and likely will break down, greatly affecting potency.

with E - the first time I (and most of my friends) did it we felt nothing like our 2nd time.

I wasn't even fuked up - at all. Do you eat before taking pills? I notice when I eat - one time 2 chicken nuggets.. it didn't hit me until the night was over.

But acid - it can take a very long time to hit. But it would never last such a short period of time. Prob bunk.

Are you on any medication / antidepressants?

i heard if you take a shit in a brown paper bag and tape it closed for 5 mins, open the bag quick and huff the steam from the top of the bag that you'll trip out on a 10hr acid trip. true story

I am 25 years old, not on any medication. I used to be on some medication to control seizures, but I quit taking that because I don't have many seizures. However, since epilepsy is a brain disorder, I wonder if they could somehow be related, though it does not appear to be.
I feel like even if I take a small dose, 1 hit, I should still feel something. But most oddly, two times out of the 10 that I have felt somrthing, like I said, it came, vision distorted, and left a few minutes later. So why would it show up at all? Its like it tried to take effect, but I shut it right off.

Screw it, next festival I'm taking a bunch off the start. Maybe I have a much higher tolerance automatically??

Well, LSD does bear a resemblance to serotonin...and while seizure disorders have to do with GABA, it is known that different neurotransmitters share the same pathways in the brain.

Also, you build tolerance to hallucinogens very quickly. If you tried to get high the next night after already trying, that could be why.

Take a long break and see what happens, maybe you do have more tolerance.

Almost every psychedelic/psychoactive has a resemblance to serotonin.

As for the epilepsy: There was a short strive for evidence in the 50's. The effects of LSD on EEG taken from the medial temporal lobes of psychotic patients showed increased "paroxysmal" activity - researchers ultimately made an assumption that the use of LSD would phenomenally raise the seizure threshold. don't they do that kind of thing somewhere in africa? it's actually like popular among some kids or something like that? (read online somewhere, so who knows) They piss in it too I think.
