Smiley DJ Randall Jones new artist album "The World: By Night"

I haven't been this excited about an artist album in a long while. Most of you probably know about this since Randall is a Houston local. But if not; well the mans been putting out amazing work for years and this is his debut artist album.
His productions/remixes and sets are infused with copious amounts of dub, reggae influence, futuristic vibes, and house beats injected with tribal percussion, and Bladerunner soundscapes. He also has the influence of old school funk and a hip-hop style rhythm or two dropped in there from time to time.
He's had releases on labels such as Bedrock, Little Mountain, Renaissance, Forensic, and his very own Mynt music label amongst many others.
In a market that seems to be driven more and more by commercialism and trends Randall has side stepped all that and kept his style firmly rooted in the origins of house music.
I could go on but i'll fall into fanboyism, so i'll stop now.

In short, if you like anything by Hernan Cattaneo, Somnus Corp., Tigerhook Corp., Disciples Of Smoke, John Creamer, Peter Sajche, Or Dave Dimes, you'll most likely love Randall Jones.

Available on Beatport, itunes, and maybe a few others. Buy it!

After listening to it a few times and groking the depth of matters i realize that if you take out the intro track and that one track with the rapping, it's a pretty good compilation of tracks.

Beatport had it available early, the other sites like itunes have it on pre order it seems.
I love how Randall's music always has so much body to it. Big lush monstrous music. Gonna be awesome when a few more of the remixes drop. I was looking for more info on that JuiceK label the album was released on. Any word on if it's another label owned by Mr. Jones? Seems to be new and the few releases they've had are all related to this album some how.
