New Virus TI Soundsets Released

FYI for Virus TI/TI2 owners - 2 new soundsets have been released:

VTG Electro Signature Set

quote:
The Signature Electro Patch set by San Francisco based Electro Rock producer & performer, VTG. Here's what he has to say: "I really wanted a nasty sound bank for my Virus, something that made the woofers shake, something that had LOTS of great modulation and LFO usage... So I set forth to create a dirty, Electro (somewhat Industrial) patch set for the Virus... I did a lot of work w/ the Matrix and the LFOs so be sure to play excessively with the soft knobs on the virus when you use these patches! Theres dubstep-esque basses, nasty little arps, raunchy electro leads and ghostly ambient pads included in the bank". VTG has remixed XLover, the Deftones and many others. He is also a member of Electro House band, Dancefloor Executives.

Richard Devine Signature Soundset 2010

quote:
The new signature set by the Atlanta based Glitchcore/IDM artist Richard Devine takes your Virus TI to extreme and new territories. Richards passion for noise, dirt and distortion can easily be recognised though all his sounds. Many sounds alter drastically with changing the MIDI note pitch although the actual pitch remains nearly the same. Also many sounds evolve over time and can be greatly modified with the preassigned soft knobs.

Get them both for FREE from the Access Downloads page.

Are there still audible glitches when using the Virus TI with USB? I remember having to render 5+ copies of the track at once (all in real time) in order to HOPEFULLY have one that was glitch-free.

By glitch, I mean a voice crapping out or some other un-wanted issue.

no problems here either. actually very pleased with my unit. i run the 3 tracks usb can handle and never pay any attention to the CPU bar on patches. i've never 'maxed' it out although i know i have run multiple 4 bar patches at one time. no voice stealing, crackling, etc. starting to like my virus more and more. all i use are it, trillian, mopho, omnisphere, nexus2 and UAD plugs. can't get enough of the trident a-range.

Thanks for the heads up on these. Now the tricky part... Find the time to fire up my studio PC and check these out. Its been off now for nearly 2 weeks since I started a new job.
