Fine, I'll tell him. MP3 is an audio format, it doesn't have any of the note data that MIDI files have, so there's no way to convert it.

But yeah Melodyne might be able to notate an audio track for you

Yes it will handle simple parts that are playing on its own, and thats if ur lucky..

This is wav to midi, you can find others that are mp3. Or just convert the mp3 to wav yourself.

Tbh you wont get anything great but you can make stuff out if you really need to, best on just single sounds not a complete track.
