I think Entourage is decent but their soundtrack is impeccable, especially that last song they use that catches that last scene before going into the credits.

I might have missed the point but the show is decent IMO but I thought the Thread was about the shows 'soundtrack' and not the actual show.

I don't love the show myself but the first season or two were the best IMO. And the fact it was based on real life even if it turned to a bro-mance was a decent idea for a series.

First few seasons were awesome.. the last few are mediocre. What makes the show great is the friendship between the 4 friends, it's very genuine, if you have a tight group of bros, you can relate to the show..

As for the music, it always is great.

Dang, I just recently bought the HBO package again, I couldn't afford it for awhile there so it looks like I missed season 1 of How to make it in America and it's not on HBO on Demand. That would have been an interesting watch.

You know I heard that E and Turtle were going to make their own HBO show and star in it, and the Medline movie that sunk on the Entourage show was actually going to be made into a full movie for HBO.

the show is ok, but not something that should be carrying the network. unfortunately with garbage like True Blood, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm are the only shows worth watching. As for the soundtrack, I don't know what's so special? You have your generic "underground" rap, a little pop rock, and some random shit.

Thanks - what a goldmine. Superb taste in music that guy has.

As for the show, yes it's gone seriously downhill, but knowing this is almost the last season (only 6 more eps coming next summer or so I heard), I'm just enjoying it as lightweight entertainment featuring tits, great music and Ari's (admittedly more and more forced) angry one-liners.
