It's called the Melbourne Shuffle. But if other parts of the world also do it... please let us know...

oh my god, that's really good! at first i was like "damn candy ravers" but then i was like "that's some nice footwork"
but you have to agree, the first couple of dudes do look somewhat stupid... oh, if i could do just 10% of what they can do...

this style reminds me of how people dance to house in san francisco... but at a much faster clip.

There's people who dance like that in Sydney too and we still call it the Melbourne shuffle. Even though most of us havn't been clubbing in Melbourne (like myself). I have a friend who has been asked several times if he's from Melbourne because of his "shuffle" and there are a few people who dance in that style (they used to mainly come out at breaks events but I havn't been to any for a while). Is it really common in Melbourne?
BTW thanks for that, I've been wondering what the Melbourne shuffle is for ages.
Farkin hell, I can't get the clip to buffer properly so I'm only getting like 1 frame/30 secs..... bugger.

all right, i watched the clip for like 12th time today and i'm crying out in despair: SOMEONE TEACH ME DAT SHIZNIT!!! like that matrix stuff, "i know kung-fu"... i mean, i wanna learn to do it in 2 days...
are there any like tutorials on the web that show you where to place your feet and stuff? there's stuff for breakdancing, so why can't there be something for the Melbourne Shuffle? aarrrrrrrrhaaaaaaaahaggh!
