This is the first major Edmonton event in over a year now. 3000+ capacity and an incredible lineup featuring :

Frankie Vega: Chicago, Funky techno (dust traxx,uppercut,blueline records)

Alchemy:New york, progressive trance/deep house: Y2K entertainment/bedrock records (digweeds lable)

Tybal: New york/dysfunctional/Y2K: New yorks #1 break beat dj.

And a host of local Edmonton talent including:
Derkin & Dave Stone, Tristan Newton, Vass, Diazo, Kristoff, and of course your favourite Goa Trooper, Skywarp.

Tickets are only $20 advance (available at DV8, Foosh, Colour Blind, and Reds). $25 @ the door. Unfortunately this party will be 18+ but there will be drinks available until 02:30. This event is going to be AMAZING, and it is about time for the Edmonton scene to wake up and show that we still know how to party.

Making his Western Canada debut, quite simply, Sander is one of the top superstar DJs in the world.

Last year alone, Sander has logged 250,000 airmiles, with DJ sets from London to Buenos Aires via New York and rabid support from fans whenever he drops a needle. 2001 saw the release of Nubreed 4. He recently won the prestigious Muzik Award for Radio 1 Essential Mix of 2001 and was DJ Magazine's highest climber in their latest Top 100 DJ Poll (rising 52 places from 67 to 15) further solidifying his reputation. As a producer, productions of his are featured on Global Underground releases by Sasha, Deep Dish and Danny Howells and played by the world's best. He has remixed for artists including Oliver Lieb, Destinys Child and Junkie XL.

His style of music can be described as a wonderful and extremely funky melting pot of dark & sexy US grooves and atmospheric, uplifting trance. In his sets he never goes for the easy option: dropping anthem after anthem. Instead he loves to tease his audience and bringing them into a frenzy. His new Essential Mix album released in North America by Warner/FFRR clearly displays his talents. Do not miss this rare and only Alberta apperance.

As the topic says, the one and only DEEPSKY is gracing Edmonton with their presence on Sat. July 27. They are one of the (if not THE) best trance/breaks live acts. Make sure to check them out. Cover only $6 - the whole thing is happening at Majestik (10123 - 112 St.). Don't miss this !
