Smiley DJ Mix it

Hello all, i was wondering if any of you could help me out a little bit.

Im back into producing, but have some problems with mixing.

This rar file: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
,contains 6 parts of the loop i made, kick bass pad etc.

Can some one pls listen to it the way it is now, and then try and adjust a few things to make it sound more "mixed".

Would really appreciate this.

Thanks!

i doubt if anyone will do the mixing work for you its your mix man learn how to get the best out of your set up. the parts sound fine to me the kick needs changing due to some cliping issues and the pad was taken from a big trance track i cant remember what. but if you made them all then i cant see see what else you're after other then someone else mixing a track for you.

Clearly, you are. If you weren't too lazy mix the parts yourself, you would mix the parts yourself.

without sample double looped.

why not just do it?

The only way you'll break your ice is by stepping in.

Always been a fan of cosmic gate, their old stuff.
Nic Chagall even has some of his own productions I really dig

remember this one

pretty old school cosmic gate. Man that shit was epic. I remember playing this one and the bass in the room was just insane. I think what I liked about the hard trance back then was that it had balls. It was like fight music.

Never heard this one. The bass is definitely cosmic gate's, that signature style, anyone who listens to cosmic gate will be able to recognize that sound instantly. I heard a Green Court/Cosmic gate remix, forgot the name of it, good song too. Aren't Green Court and Cosmic Gate the same?

Btw really liking the bass and kick, so strong and full of balls!

EDIT: nope never mind, they are different

it really was interesting how you could tell producers right away by their style. Much harder these days. I mean I could tell most producers by their drum intro without anything else. They were that unique from each other. And ya this is one of their more obscure ones that was not on any of their albums but man was it a big room rave tune. I often wished that I wasn't djing and could just be dancing when I was playing all these tunes.

If you liked that bass, check this new one out by scot project. Funkiest trance bass line i've heard in a real long time. So bad ass when the bass just drops.

Posted by Ravist on Aug-27-2010 18:27:

wow havent heard anything from scot project in a while, interesting track especially the break, just when it felt it was going on too long it brought out some percussion to bring in excitement. I like how this track evolves over the 5 mins. Interesting stuff, when did this come out?
