So, what do you think of the Anjunabeats Facebook login?
As I'm sure many of you are already aware, the Anjunabeats forum has gone to a new format that requires a Facebook account to log in. Personally, it doesn't bother me since I rarely post there anymore, so it's a good excuse to have one less forum wasting my valuable time that could otherwise be spent posting on TA.
But, it has created quite a bit of hostility over there, so I'm curious to know what you guys think.
Also, I really hope that this forum never goes that route.
I think it smells of the fucking Nazi tbh
That's why I still log in the old way.
Re: So, what do you think of the Anjunabeats Facebook login?
I don't have a Facebook and I have no plans to make one, but for some odd reason I can still login over there. I thought that having a Facebook to login became compulsory. I hope that I can continue posting there, because it has a very active production feedback section.

good thing i only have 3 posts there.
swampers a cool guy, he wont do that shit to you.
Nice, this way they can retrieve tons of personal details about you.
Only the personal details you'd be comfortable showing anyone else. If there's information you don't want out there, don't put it on your Facebook. If there's information you only want friends to see, set your privacy settings to do just that.
Not really an infringement on your privacy if they see stuff you personally entered and authorized people to have access to.
cmon cryo, def something not worth posting about
Yeah, I know. I'm sure Diginut will delete this thread.
So I can't flame people on anjuna now because my real name is out there? BOOO

lol.
Nice way to hide the fact that they just want more info about you. Knowledge is power and that's the reason Google and Facebook make so much money.
It would be the above or to hide the fact that their web-programmer (assuming they have one) is too incompetent to solve the spambots problem himself. But I put my bets on the first option
I might have misunderstood, is the log-in authorizing them to be your Facebook friend or to pull personal information or something? If that's the case yeah that's kind of odd.
I'm not sure what is the case now. From what I remember from logging in using openId (such as facebook) is you automatically share your personal information. I am unsure if that is still the case right now as Facebook has been under a lot of pressure lately due the it's loose definition of privacy.
