Does this mean that they could have been selling them for 99 cents the entire time and just chose to raise the prices until they hit a point of diminishing returns?

Are new release, 2.49s still meant to be that price? I was expecting 1.99

Only the standard price tracks have gone down, as far as I can tell. Some of the �1.73s and �1.30s may have been reduced, but I imagine they're the shitty ones Beatport are being paid to market.

Yeah, new tracks, classics and exclusives are still the old price. But still, standard price tracks are the vast majority of tracks on Beatport.

Hardly anything is $.99...

Why can't Beatport...for a few days, just price the entire site at $.99? Fuck this $1.99 and $2.49 "half-sale" shit.

Also all the old tracks that are now down to $.99, you can find them cheaper on AmazonMP3 anyway.
