because the writers can't do any better, or that the target audience don't care and just want to hear the word love a couple of times

i wouldnt call it shit, i would call it accessible to a wide audience

i totally admit thats it not a very genius bunch of lyrics, but it totally does the trick in combination with her voice and the track, and the end result for me as the producer is very satisfying.

To me, it wouldnt make sense to have very complex deep lyrics on a uplifting trance tune, meant to be played life in clubs and festivals. PEople have to have the ability to remember the lyrics and people want to identify themselves with it.
