also whats the crowd like here? went a few years back, seemed v. hollywood then.

and a lot of young asians, armenians, and middle easterns.

i'm armenian and i don't have issues with the crowd..but some people do.

should be a fun night.

I heard it had changed though, that they'd cleaned it up a little and there were apparently less asian washers?

Maybe that's just the non trance nights, like tech house and prog DJ's.

I liked the crowd before giant took over. yes it was more washers but the douchey people were usually over at Vanguard and Avalon use to have solid line ups.

A few have retired. I don't think it has to do with trance vs house. It's more if they know the DJ names. I believe Christopher Lawrence will draw a lot of them tonight.

See that seems strange to me because the crowd at vanguard was WAAAAAY less douchey than I ever saw at avalon. Yeah, when Sharam or someone like that played the douche factor would go up but Avalon has always had a much worse crowd than Vanguard.

Can't say know what's happening these days with either because I refuse to go avalon because of the crowd, and the line ups at Vanguard have been tripe since Giant left. Shit they even lost Deep. I just don't know what Vanguard ownership was thinking.
