The Random Gadget Recommendation Thread

Inspired by my recent decision to open a new jar of mustard, I present to you the random gadget recommendation thread. Pretty self-explanatory--if you've used it and think it's sorta awesome, post it here. The less likely it is that someone would realize they need one, the better. I'll start.

The Bottle/Jar/Whatever-Opener. Silly-looking rubber thing. I'm no weakling, but even I can't pry some stuff open unassisted. This thing has yet to fail me in turning any lid.

Next, the Hic-cup. I have no fucking clue how this works, and I don't care. I've used it, maybe, a dozen times, but it stops the hiccups every single time, within seconds. You pour water in it, you drink the water, with the goofy ball against your head, and you're done.

All you have to do is tap the handle end of a knife all around the lid. Works every time.

Hahah, I hate the way the potatoey-water stains my shirt if I peel them pulling the knife towards me AND the smell that stays in my fingers for hours after this operation.
