Sander Kleinenberg aka 5k??
ok so this might be a a stupid question but i saw this video and it shows that Sander Kleinenberg and Sasha are doing a Block of Partys together but in the video it says 5K and Sasha...Is this the new Alias that Sander Kleinenberg is using now? Its also says Album Release anyone know about this at all?? Heres the Video..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZKkn2XwHrk
5k = 5ander Kleinenberg
he wants to be cool like deadmau5
it's also the name of his new album, not an alias
If that is the case, I am surprised that they have got together. The last time I bothered to listen to him, Sander seemed to have lost his way and was sounding more commercial.

sander lost the plot a while ago. but even when he was "on his game" he was still mostly hit or miss with me.
5K??? Isn't that what the infamous Nick.... um.... the unspoken one wanted...
Sander went down hill after the release of Everybody...
He had some hit or miss nights back in 04-06 but nothing outstanding after that
give me the deep dark prog that he used to drop back in 00-early 03

Sander can rock a party like it's no one's business, and the last few times I've seen him were really something else in my books. But even I, a HUGE Sander fan, must admit that he can be inconsistent at times. He's good, but only occasionally great.
Skipping his set at This is London I think, rather see him at Stereo. those humongous screens should suit the DVDJ'ing quite well. But who knows, I might even do both.

When Sasha, Digweed & Sander played the Pepsi Forum in Mtl a few years back, S&D left the stage with a loop running for a solid 5-7 mins before Sander even walked on so that they didn't have to be up there with him. He lost a LOT of cred for a few years. I'm glad he's getting back on form though. |

I'm curious to hear what he has up his sleeves next week. He used to be my #1 a few years back but lost me for a bit. Haven't seen him since he played a fun set at Shine in Miami last year.
