The whole "don't buy it anymore" mentality never works. With it you'll only be able to achieve a moral victory for yourself.

Let's say everyone on this site decided to not give deadmau5 another penny. How is that going to change anything? There's still millions of other people out there right now supporting his music and he's making new fans by the boatload every day.

I see this a lot with sports franchises too. People say "don't go to the games and buy the tickets...show 'em the message". But they're forgetting that the demand is so high. For every person turning away, there's another five lining up, cash in hand.

Also I'll never understand dubstep. Is there a SINGLE dubstep track out there that doesn't sound like this song?

Every dubstep track I've heard, ranging from the random YouTube links to the five-star reviews on Resident Advisor sounds 100% the same.

On-Topic: I've certainly heard worse.
Production is quite good as always, song starts out nice, lovely vocals (I'm not that concerned about the lyrics), but then turns into fail.

Deadmau5 was streaming a set live on Ustream from some club on the 14th at Club Provacateur in NYC, I think it was a private party cuz it wasn't announced on his tour dates.. and I tuned in for the first 25 minutes, and he was playing some deep prog, stuff you don't hear at his arena shows like this obnixous garbage..

I hate to be offensive, but if you don't like dubstep in to the first place, why are you judging it? It's like if someone who listened to nothing but jazz started ranting at you that trance sucked. You need context.

That being said, it's not that great of a dubstep track. While the bass is more than dirty enough, it doesn't really go anywhere. But I still admire that he's experimenting with different genres, and some of his other dubstep is pretty good.

And this isn't like a new thing, he's been posting dubstep on soundcloud since 7 months ago.

Tranceaddict has hit a new low. Every other thread is bashing Deadmouse.

There's nothing engaging enough in the first half of the track to keep my attention for the overblown drop. There's nothing to increase my attention span for that long.

The whole vocal part is a bit weak anyway.
