Need some info on a few tracks please..

Hi..

in order to settle an argument between me and a mate, I would be grateful if someone could help out please.

My mate insists that he heard the following tracks in about 1990-1992. I disagree and maintain that they're all fairly recent productions but there's just no convincing him.

If anyone is able to confirm if any of the tracks..or just the lyrics used in them were available at that time, that would be cool:

Majai - Phoria
The Thrillseekers - The Last Time
Matt Darey pres. Urban Astronauts feat. Kate Louise Smith - See The Sun
Max Graham feat. Neev Kennedy - Sun In The Winter

He might have heard something similar, or may be heard some originals that these tracks may have sampled but he did not hear those exact tracks.

Thanks...this is kinda what i'm getting at. I know Phoria didn't come out till 2008 but is there a chance that the vocals used in it were taken from an older track? Or can anyone think of any tunes that are similar sounding?

From the U.S.A. here. I raced for many years and made some money at it too. Most all of the people are great, you have a few jerks anywhere you go. For just starting out, your bike will be fine. Even against the 4strokers, a fast guy aboard a competitve 125 will smoke'em. For your first race, I would do the beginner or novice class. Don't know how fast you are but if you're like super fast, you'll know after your first race day that you should move up to intermediate. then again, if you beat all them, it's time to move up again and run expert with the fast guys. Riding with the faster guys will make you faster. Like in life, start at the bottom and work your way up. You'll have a feel for how you'll do in the first practice lap. If there's a scary part, I would say it's the first turn, with 40 bikes jamming into one corner and banging bars. Some guys are more aggressive, and aggressive is good, but some ride dirty in the amatuers. Good luck guy. Just remember, have fun.
