[news] Trance Energy is losing his trance

Dance event Trance Energy will continue under a new name.
The change is simple: only Energy will remain. According to the organizer, ID&T, it will not mean that there will be no more trance played at this new event, it will continue 'without too much musical compromising'.
The first edition of ENERGY will be held February 19 2011, pre-sale will start October 9.

I hope ID&T will not make another mistake, by changing a succesful concept
like what happened with Innercity

some of the most disturbing news ive heard in a long time. why ruin something that is so good? the last 2 have sold out and you go and make changes like this?! horrible

It was indeed Energy in 2000, but it was already a Trance event.
This time it will change and not only contain trance styles

That was one of the best trance sets ever.. I lost my copy ages ago. Do you have? Starts off with More & More and ends with Rank 1 Airwave iirc.

file is named trance energy which is wrong but the set is still right. not sure which version this is but some verisons have an extra 3 tracks at the beginning.

IMO This is Lumonosity's chance to takeover Trance Events in Holland

This could go two ways good move or horribly wrong.

If they got artists like JOOF, Protoculture ect to play and have a wider range of sounds = awesome.

If they are doing it to commercialise it more and have tards like guetta playing then FAIL.

Think about it remember when marcus schossow first started making music, it was different and unique. Now he has gone into the cookie cutter trance style and you can't distinguish him from the crowd. Artists like Van Doorn & Marco V who aren't strictly trance have to edit what they play to the trance crowd. If they give license to the dj's to play what the fuck they want, then KUDOS to ID&T.

Oh God....why!?

i just dont understand as someone said before why ID&T would keep strictly one genre events like innercity and thunderdome, but take away the biggest one of them all in TE...makes no sense
