OMFG! I usually don't waste time sharing music or artists, but just when I thought I couldn't ever find someone to top Burial, I found someone! This guy is a f*ckin musical genius. Seriously, his album is the best album of the year!!

Had to edit my original post. I just found out Clubroot will be in SF on Thursday Sept. 30... WTF, but no LA date!

They were really good live! They played for about an hour, played almost every song on their album. The opening bands were pretty interesting too.

The venue was horrible though, and bad sound system. They only had speakers in the front where the stage was (pointing towards the back). They didn't have speakers in the back or on the sides. I felt like I could hear the music better in my car or at home on my headphones.

BTW... The xx said that this is their last tour for a long time. I'm not sure what they meant by that, or how long they won't be touring.

I don't know even one person who would want to go see Four Tet. I liked the stuff he played when he played with Nathan Fake a few months ago.

I'm not familiar with Jon, but I looked up a couple of his songs on youtube, and really liked it. Nice, dark, melancholy-ish.

I thought you said you didn't like dubstep

I would see Clubroot over Umek any day. Umek's stuff is so whatever & unoriginal.
