Reliable and quality CD-Rs out there
IM asking this question again since i want to know what you guys trust and use most of the time to burn music or whatever else you burn.
So far, i have been using Imation, Sony, and Memorex and all three brands worked great for me and hardly gave me any trouble. Now some people told me that some CD-Rs don't make exact copies of the original cds meaning that the sound quality is not as great as the original. Memorex i heard makes great cdrs and the sound quality is good. But I really can't tell. I just want to know what cdrs i should start buying from this day forward so i don't waste my money on crappy ones.
What do you think
Hehe I just buy whatever is at the supermarket, I've also read memorex is good but I don't really care, as long as I can hear it its all good
There all basically the same. Most of mine are on memorexs though because they were really really cheap one day and i got like 300.
hmmmm
found some nice memorex 50 spindle pack at best buy for 20 bucks
nice price. but im skeptical on the black layer on it. is it really true that the darker the cd layer, the better for it's sound and lifespan. if so then im getting the pack
My favorites are Memorex Black. They have out lasted all my other burned CD's by 10 times.
If you want quality, get Kodak Infoguard Ultra Gold, Mitsui Gold, or Taiyo Yuden. They're the best. F*ck the rest! That's what I buy. BUY IT IF YOU WANT LONG LASTING QUALITY CD-Rs...
Sony, Kodak Ultra Gold, TDK, Mitsui, and Memorex.
best brands in the world.

You guys know that almost all CD-Rs are made by one or two companies right? Other companies by them for cheap, slap their label on them, and sell for a markup.
That being said, I've never had a problem with GIGASTORAGE ones. Never a bad burn.
Well the local supermarkey sells these shitty Sky Cd's are 50p each, which my mate buys, and they're as thin as a can be, and we have no end of shit with them! Personally i buy TDK 10 Packs, might cost that little bit more, but they're also alot thicker compaired to Sky, never once had a problem burning or playing them, and i no they'll last coz ive got atleast a 5 year old regular using TDK one, and i dont wana spend years making a collection for it to die!
The old saying, "you get what you pay for.."

i bought my cdrs for 10 cents a piece and they work great
long lasting and good burning
im 100% sure that Verbatim are the best brand for CD-Rs out there. i dont know how their price compares to the rest but their quality is top-notch
