Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Hold tight....history is about to be made.

The Tao Group is quite busy this fall. Having opened Lavo on East 58th, Noah Tepperberg, Jason Strauss, Marc Packer and Rich Wolf will bring Marquee to the soon-to-open Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The estimated $50 million Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub will be a 63,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor venue open 18 hours a day. DJ Erick Morillo will kick off its New Year's Eve grand opening and will have an exclusive monthly residency at the club. Elsewhere at the Cosmopolitan, Jay-Z and Coldplay will give New Year's Eve concerts, as Page Six reported earlier. And at sister property Tao Las Vegas, Kim Kardashian will play host to a New Year's Eve bash.

Haze was a disappointment. Hope this can compete with the likes of Rain. Have yet to check out the new club at the rio - heard that isnt bad at all - its just not getting a crowd.

these NYE parties are tempting... start off at Jay-Z and Coldplay and finish off the nite at Morillo?

And my name's not Debbie.

I have crazy respect for you trying to bring a proper scene to Vegas. It's one thing to throw good, proper EDM parties here and there, it's another trying to do it on a weekly basis. So props to you.

BTW, is this where Tiesto's 2011 Vegas residency is gonna be? Remember seeing some flyer around Nocturnal for it, but don't think it mentioned where it was going to be at.

i'm near the strip now. I drove by and the cosmo has a nice balcony where it overlooks the strip. i think that's where the club will be, if so.. then a really nice spot!
