New Remix of Ralphie B - Massive / For an Angel 2002

!THESE AREN'T OFFICIAL REMIXES....THEY'RE ARE MADE BY MYSELF!

I've made some Remixes and until now i got a lot of positive Feedback from my Friends (They are honest), the Crowd which i spin for and also some other DJs.......A few days ago i send them to Vandit Records, but till now i haven't received any feedback from them....we'll see.

Description:

Ralphie B - Massive (Michi F. Remix)
------------------------------------
I made this Remix when only the Original Mix of that massive(!!!) Track existed.....I thought there could be more bass, more energy in it....and so i started making a Rework, but later i realized that it wasn't a Rework anymore.....It's more like a complete Remix.....I think it's a really good Remix (sure,i haven't made it if i don't think that it's good) and if u loved Massive, i bet you will like this Remix too or even more........but find out by yourself

Short:more Energy,more Bass,great Synth-FX in the Build-Up

Paul van Dyk - For an Angel (Michi F. 2002 Remix)
--------------------------------------------------
This remix only leaves The great Melody, but in a whole new Style......I would compare it with the Style of Nu NRG - Dreamland.....really lots of Energy here......The Build-Up uses soft synths and Pads but with the Start of the Break the Tracks turns into a huge Monster......nothing for chill-Out sessions There are some small errors in this Mix (for 2 seconds there is a little Distortion in the Break; and i will remove the Breakbeats in the second long break, but if u like them i will leave it as it is).....i will replace that distortion, but please download the Remixes and give me some Feedback.......

When i saw DJ Lee aka Megara spinning i asked him to listen to these Remixes.......later he told me that he likes them...he plays them on some events...No Joke....I'm very proud of it....

IF U WANT TO KNOW WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THESE REMIXES SEND ME A PM AND I'LL TELL YOU........WAITING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK

wrong forum for this is not official goes in production studio, stop trying to get attention to your tracks

Posted by michif72 on Jul-30-2002 08:17:

Hey c'mon........i wouldn't get any attention in the Production Studio.....and i think some people here are lucky to know that there are more mixes of these tracks......who doesn't want to know, doesn't need to care about it...........it would be wrong if i hadn't mentioned that these mixes aren't official......but i did......and so i think it's no problem......

This does belong in the Amateur DJs and Music Producers Promotion section, and I'm sure you would have gotten response if you posted them there. Anyway, I took a listen to both remixes.

The massive remix was decent, but it seems you hardly used any of your own sounds in it, except the beat. The synth is sampled directly from the original (correct me if I'm wrong), but you've done some interesting stuff with it. But you should try adding more sounds to it to make it more sound fuller and more interesting. And what really bothered me was the bassline, it doesn't sound to be in sync with the melody and it doesn't follow it, it stays on the same note the entire time.

Same thing goes for the bassline in the for an angel remix. And I don't like the synth sounds in it, it sounds to thin and amateurish. Other than that, it's a bit too repetetive and lacks something to make it more different from the original. The part at 8:37 is good, maybe you could have done more out of that and used it earlier in the tune.

Hope I wasn't too hard on you It's just constructive critisism. Keep working

It's ok........you're right the massive melody is sampled directly from the original......but what should i do?.....vandit doesn't send me the files......BUT THE MELODY IS 100% SYNC WITH THE BEAT.......But what's ur problem with the beat? it's powerful and ok...You say it's always the same!?! The Drums and the Bassline are always the same in the whole track.....or did u ever listen to a track which uses 2 completely different drums? I think it's ok.....I really like the Remix, but if u don't it's ok.....and "djriot01" loves it too....

OK,For an Angel could be better........there are some errors (as i said).........nothing more to say, Haak said everything......But i think the synths are really powerful......ok, they sound a bit commercial, but i think it's........
I simply have to rework this remix.......But what for? If i get an answer from vandit,i will rework this track.......

@ Haak: Didn't u say that u make some remixes too? What Tracks? Where can i get them?

(did u really listen to them? I didn't notice that download them!)

Ok, that's not what I meant. I was talking about the notes of the bass. They usually change in time with the melody. So that the bassline also plays the melody if you know what I mean

There's was only one user sharing them on DC, djriot01 I think it was
