If so that kinda sucks IMO because it ends early & I'd have to go to Ultra just for this. I swore off Ultra starting in 2006 & wish they'd so ASOT 500 somewhere else, maybe where they do SSFD.

Also they should do 2 days in Miami, just like I think they did in NYC this year ...

He usually has a line up with 5-6 other people and when it was in NY it began at 11 and ended at 5!

He is good friends with MADE Events and I just have a feeling it will be at a place like Karu & Y. Not Ultra - that would be uber lame. I don't think Ultra will 'let Armin' pick the line up for ASOT. They need to have their cheesy shitty artists. Armin has better taste.

it makes perfect sense at ultra imo. youd have a whole tent for asot500. plus that basically ensures the tent is full. itd be all day so it would be good timing for everyone in europe to tune in if it gets broadcast live. if its not at ultra and its at a club, they cant do it on the beach because everything closes at 5 so the lineup would be uber weak. all signs point to ultra imo. the shit festival that is known as ultra + asot just go too perfectly together.

but i hope its not there. depending on the lineup i might actually consider this. but that also depends on the rest of the wmc lineups. and considering those announcements are still atleast 4 months away its really somewhat pointless to get into all that now.

but here comes pages and pages and pages of speculation...

Per Armins words "ASOT 500 in Miami at a tent at the Ultra Music Festival"...that was the big news on todays ASOT. So unless something happens this is the plan.

Well if it's at Ultra, I'm sure Markus will be at this tent. And it does kind of make sense...you can fit a bunch of DJs at that tent all day over 12 hours. Longer than you could any club.

2 great points. While it would take a miracle to ever get me to another Ultra, the ASOT 450 events in NYC & Toronto were nothing like the show. A bunch of great DJs played great sets. It would be such a waste & shame to blow the chance for a great event on the "candy raving spring breaking all ages" crowd at Ultra. Why not rent out all 3 rooms @ Space and do it right, at a place that can go long into the afternoon? Or rent out Karu & the place next door where they did SSFD, pull an extended hours permit again & do it there??? By doing it this way they can still get 12 hours, 21 and over crowd, nighttime party & multiple rooms. But I guess that just makes too much sense to actually do it ...

That totally ruins the mood of ASOT. Sorry. ASOT 450 was so fuking fun and for it to be moved to join with Ultra is super weaksauce. The time zone shit doesn't matter because 3 nights were done last year on the east coast.

Roseland closes at 5am and the line up was far from "weak".

Well thats cool asot 500 in miami!! sucks at ultra though..

ASOT 500 at Space would have been ideal

keep goin back n forth between the main room and terrace would have been dope....

That is exactly what he said on yesterdays episode.

I believe last year, Armin was exclusive to Ultra. I think a few of us discussed this. So, I am assuming this is a mutual plug for all both parties, Ultra promotes the fact that Armin will have his ASOT500 there, and Armin can plug that he is doing his show at Ultra.

I know I want to go to ASOT 500, but Ultra Saturday 2010 was the most packed I have ever seen Ultra ever! I really wonder what is going to be done for this particular part of it.

If ultra is 3 days then sat will be the asot trance tent and u can fit in the likes of Schulz emery and maybe the sets are longer than the typical 60 min

I'm sure a couple of DJs will spin 90 or so mins...and probably Armin playing at least 2 hours if not 3.

DAMN. Didnt want it to be at Ultra. This sucks. Was hoping ASOT would be exclusive artists and therefore Ultra would have their own thing going with the trance artists for the trance tent. Pissed.

i think it would have been perfect for them to do it at ice palace
sort of like an all day event like sunday school...
you have that big main room for the big guys plus have the outdoor stage set-up for more dj's

iant feeling it at ultra either and probly not even gonna go, everyone tells me ultra blows and is full of teeney bopper raver kids

After last night I fell in love lol. Even if it is at Ultra & the lineup is solid I will actually go :x and that is saying a lot because I hate ultra since it moved from Bayfront.

If it's at a club, I'm curious to see what club it will be at.

I really don't understand why there is so much confusion or speculation surrounding this announcement. I mean just from a business standpoint Armin is exclusive to Ultra apparently from last years show. So he said well if I can only play Ultra and ASOT 500 is around this time I'll just get a tent invite all my buddies and play for 12 hours. More than likely it will get broadcasted so if you don't like Ultra u can hear it on the computer or the recordings later. Hell if instead of Miami he chose San Francisco then what? Geez be glad its here. Like I said earlier he said "a tent in Ultra" so its not at a club. And obviously their not gonna sell tickets to ASOT, its already included. My suggestion is get your tickets in December when they come out at $100 cause this will likely raise the prices very quickly and I believe sellout this event aside from the other major artists playing.
