Hello, here is my new mix project. It is pretty darn hard to describe as it covers a rather large spectrum genrewise. Have a listen and decide yourself

This is the setup I did it on (sorry about the crappy quality ):


Running 3 decks on Traktor scratch pro.

This is really, really good. The music is incredibly deep, funky and lush right across the board, and the mixing is super-smooth. The switches between genres are imperceptible, and I really like how you've got great variety of genres, rhythms, tempos but it all feels so coherent and unified. The only fault I noticed is a slight key clash at about 46:30.

Btw, why didn't you make a complete tracklist? Like mentioning the vocal sample of "fc kahuna - hayling" for example?

The reason I didnt credit all those snippets in the first place was that some of those were played for a very small amount of time and I didn't want to clutter the tracklist. However here is the tracklist with "+" tracks:

i've been promoting your mix heavily to all my friends. i rarely, rarely ever do that, but this one has very much impressed me. it's always refreshing to hear a mix where i listen to it and immediately go, "yeah, this guy knows his shit." especially in regards to harmonic mixing.

in some ways i wish you would've just made one long chill mix that kept the same feel as the first few tracks, but the transitions through genres to the end was totally appropriate and not at all odd or anything. (i just like jazzy, downtempo music, heh)

Thanks man. The plan for a 'Long & Chill Mix' is in my schedule. I will just need to find the time to make it happen. It will probably be in the beginning of 2011.

I do have soundcloud - http://soundcloud.com/nighteyes , I use it to share my own music. At the moment there isnt much happening there but it might get a little livelier soon as I have a few tracks underway at the moment.
