Parents..

we who still live with our parents listen to trance as you all know it, and our parents have to listen to it too or get used to it, so i wonder if any of your parents acutally get to like anything? like any track/artists.

my mom likes any ATB stuff, and she likes my Ambient

my dad is kinda...Ferry freak, he was totally wicked about Trance Nation 3 and any PSY-trance stuff... (dont like that part)

I remember driving my dad home from the ferry one day and I had Children playing and he said it was a beautiful song. As for my mom, she doesn't mind it but she doesn't have a fav track or anything. I think she likes it since there's no "fuck you n****" or any stuff like that

Well, there was a thread a while back about this same topic. People probably don't want to say the same thing twice. As for your other threads, I dunno.

I have a tune which is called ********** by Pornrockers. It's actually a pretty good song. its on DJ Snowman's Evolution 10 , and i always put that song when anybody in my family is in my car just to piss em off!! hehe

My parents like ambient stuff like Shpongle and my mum like gouryella (she says that it's like new Bach or Beethoven)

my mother is alot more open minded about this stuff......
she likes most of the tracks I play on my computer when she's there.....

Being that I am a first generation Korean, and my parents listen mainly to korean and church music I don't expect them to understand my love for trance. But I think my parents are really open minded. As a matter of fact sometimes my dad walks into my room, with the trance blaring and he actually turns the volume up and starts doing his lil dancing jig. I suspect that he likes the booming bass songs.

both of my parents like airdrawndanger, and some chillout/euphoric stuff. They dont hate it, but no real favs or anything

I play my music as loud as I want and my parents tell me to shut it off if they actually need some quiet. But either then that i got trance on loud for about 6-8 hours a day. Pretty much every second I am at home or on the comp trance is playing.

lol, thats funny, in the car, my dad does that to mock me. :P

Sometimes I let my dad drive my car. When I get my car back, I'm surprised that my dad has been playing my trance loud with the bass all the way up.

When I play Trance to my parents...they listen to it but after 5 min. they say that they got bored and want me to put something softer...like slow hits and ect.

My parents HATE Trance, actually they all the music I got. I'm not allowed to play loud when they are home, because they don't wanna be able to hear my music. They suck when it comes to music

my parents hate it...same with my sister. so i just pop my headphones on and listen. sounds good comin thru my system too

you cannot live with them you cannot live with out them..

my dad likes chicane
always borrowing my cd's so he can listen to it while he drives to and from work....
but chicane is his limit as far as trance goes

hehe, my father does that too However, he's always complaining about trance (he's often asking my why I like it, because he finds it too fast and repetitive). Ironically, he likes drum'n'bass

Nalin & Kane is one of mom�s favourtie to...hmm...she likes "Open Your Eyes" very much. she always go like "play some Nalin & kane stuff please" when shes in the kitchen.

As I said before, my Mother really likes trance and she goes clubbing sometimes with her friend Emma, One of her fav songs is Mauro Picotto - Verdi but there are loads that she can't ID

nuff said.. haha. my parentd both do that on a regular basis.. they dont like or dislie i guess but they always dance to it when im in my room listenin to it.. fucken annoying IMO.
