I'm a bit confused because you're looking for mastering tips and yet you haven't mastered it... Also the mix sounds mastered enough already with you having limited most of the dynamics out of it... I'd say it's time to go back to the mix rather than look at mastering if you want to improve the quality of the sound.

Nice track made in FLstudio?
foundation is definately right, but i find the melody a bit too new agey.... but then that's taste.

I think I meant mixing and instead of mastering. There certainly are some elements in there that lack some edge and power.

Raphie: I used Ableton Live to re-construct a track I did in another DAW half a year ago.

ok, because the tracks sounds quite FLstudio-ish
i would consider you overall mix level and listen on some different systems to hear how the mix translates

How exactly would you describe an FLstudio-ish sound?

Posted by Raphie on Oct-10-2010 17:41:

Often a bit more harsh and the use of rythmic elements of the standard trance templates

Really liking the melody and the arrangement in this track.
It's sounding pretty good as it is.

However, the top end sounds a little over-abrasive and the bottom end lacks depth and warmth to me. May be worth taking a look at the sub frequencies on your bass & kick drums. IMO anyway.

In that case undo the 'mastering' first.

The track has a quirky originality to it. On first listen it didn't grab me at all, but on second listen I really enjoyed it. Good work.
