[REVIEW] Simon Patterson, Aly & Fila, Tom Colontonio

jesus fucking christ, seriously. WHAT A PARTYYYYYYYYYYY. never heard so much banging stuff in one night. i actually left around 4:30, 30 mins before aly & fila ended his set cause i started to get major headache. haven't seen the vip this packed since tiesto isos 7 night back in 08. main floor was pretty rammed too... music was top notch.. sucks for anyone who missed out..

i was so surprised with simon patterson's set.. i was expecting him to come out and throw a producer set but, he only played 3-4 of his productions out of the 20 songs he played.

this track sums up the whole night.. will edit the tracklist of all 3 djs later on.

just got home but yea really good music all around from all the dj's vip and mainfloor was rammed but vip was the most fun

funny part of the night when i was talkin to simon and iam listenin to his accent and i go to him "you got a accent where you from new jersey?" lmaoooooo meanwhile he got such a thick irish accent
he was like god no man are you madd lmao

only downside of the night was waiting on the line for vip
waiting outside for a good 25 min in order for us to get seated and everyone else walks right in...how the hell is that vip?

so yeah.. $10 with rsvp was kind of a mislead. it was $25 . it only bothered me because it made me look like an ass to people that i told for the reduce entrance fee.

What was the second track Fila played? Song was sooo damn good! Was a def a great party! Glad to finally hear Aly & Fila live. I've heard they play a lot of cheese in their live sets and are a lot different from how they play on their radio show, but shit I didnt hear much cheese at all! Was a great set!

oh yeah and five dollar PBRs downstairs. I just woke up.

Yeah man! Fadi was playing a lot of what I think was Nick Sentience's psy tracks. And you know what...I thought that shit was awesome. It was a great change of pace in his set.

yeah man I enjoyed it myself. I dont know, but to me there is something mysterious about Webster Hall. I think maybe after seeing JOOF spin there back in 07 totally changed my vision on that place. There was screens set up all around showing all these weird demonic images and videos of vampires as JOOF was throwin down some mental mind fuck psy, and I was just blown away. I started to see blood drip from the ceiling. Maybe it was just me though.

that scot project remix by S.P
fairly new giuseppe track by S.P
simon patterson - smack by S.P
paul webster - the wolf by S.P
orjan nilsen - soulflayer by S.P
my mind is wit you [w&w remix] - a&f
aisha [aly&fila remix] - a&f

i was hoping to finally hear these songs live but ..
can't complain

sundriver - feel [nitrous oxide rmx]

That's the first night I ever got one of your mix cds. We listened to it in the car in the morning on the way to afterhours at the beach and it was AWESOME!

lmaooo sounds like my review for Ferry last week

Had a GREAT time. I love these events because everyone comes out! Of course my night was 10x's better because my friends from Toronto came down (crazy ass b*tches went to Black & Blue the next day in MOntreal, too! Ekk...15 hour party!!) hahhaha Love them! Happy Birthday Nada!!! And of course congrats to Massive!

LOVED Simon and Tom both! Bangers! Had to leave around 4 because I had a work trip to Philly the next day, so I cant comment on too much of Fila.

Having VIP was great.....sort of. The view and the bottles and being with the DJ's are the great part. But, Webster Hall freaking KILLS me. Process for VIP is NOT very VIP-like:

1. Make you stand in a VIP line
2. Then, after line, make your group stand in an area that looks like herded cattle
3. Make you wait more
4. General Admissions line goes in before any of the VIP tables go in
5. Wait more
6. Someone finally gets you to come to the VIP "check-in" station (Um didnt we "check in" outside?! WTF!
7. wait more at above check-in station(next to torturous hip-hop, mind you!)
8. Guy takes us upstairs, forgets VIP bracelets. Tells us to wait more.
9. Wait more
10. Get our table
11. Waitress "was never told" we had ordered bottles, so we never get out bottles. Finally tell her and we wait for bottles.
12. bottle #1 is brought, we finish, she doesnt bring second.
13. Nada has to FIND waitress to get second bottle
14. Second bottle is brought, she says there are no carafes left to hold the mixers, nor did she bring CUPS to pour the drinks into. I guess they want us to drinks straight from the bottle with no mixers(??)....have to find waitress to bring cups, and WAIT MORE until they have an extra carafe for extra mixers....

Also, the black women in VIP is rude as f*ck. She has no bizniz being rude, she sits on a chair and looks at people's wristbands for a living, what the F*CK could you possibly have to say? Just sit there and look what color wristband I have and keep yo damn mouth shut.

(shall I go on???) Not only does Webster renege on general admission door policy, but their VIP is terrible! This club has zero class....This is New York, too many place to go besides this one.

I highly doubt I will paying money here again, Jesus and Ferry would have to play a back-2-back set for 8 hours to get me here.
