Recent tunes that will become classics..

I was just wondering what recent tunes that have come out in the past year that will become classics. My opinions go to...

Southern Sun - Tiesto Mix
Ligaya
Mindcircus

Posted by Strike on Jul-29-2002 21:20:

i think ligaya will be for sure
and maybe that new warrior track too

id definatly have to agree with all 3 of those, plus solar coaster

Nu-NRG - Dreamland

I only think Ligaya will be a classic b/c of the name.

ah yes
how can i forget solar coaster
that tune is mint
sky falls down as well

Posted by noikeee on Jul-29-2002 21:33:

ligaya and solarcoaster definitely.

those are so far the tracks this year that seem to have impressed more people.

southern sun too.. though it's getting into the charts, what may move many people to consider it cheese. I personaly liked the radio rip, but the vinyl rip has some lack of energy.. what made that track down in my list.

1. You laugh with a 'J' jajaja
2. Your name is Arturo
3. You live in Miami

You're Cuban, right?

-------------------------------------

I'd have to agree with Southern Sun, Mindcircus, Solarcoaster,Ligaya (the name itself is a classic) and Dreamland. Classics indeed!

I agree with the tunes mentioned above plus:

Jurgen Vries - The Theme (definitely a tune to remember)

Frank T.R.A.X.X. - Nebuchan

Riva - Time is the healer

FUNK DAT!

I say Sholan -Can You feel (Thrillseekers Remix) FOR CLASSIC OF '02!Oey vey...what a song!

Posted by cornelius on Jul-30-2002 00:38:

"Southern Sun" definetely!

myself and all of friends after GODSKITCHEN Opening Nite @Eden,Ibiza agree that "Marco V-GODD" & "Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar-Marco V remix" are the top tunes of the summer for the moment, agree or disagree with me all u wish people about those tunes being top,but consider first that being in the midlle off the dancefloor at Eden when Marco V unleashed those tunes upon us and several thousand other clubbers and listening to the same tunes on CD or Mp3 is totaly different.

Yeah right... And I'm gonna get signed by Man. United in an hour..

If there still is anybody that remembers all of their tracks in ten years or so (not including the artists themselves), I'd find that rather strange..

These tunes won't be classics in ten years.. Maybe one, but definitely not all of them.

so true. honestly, out of those listed, i think only "dreamland" and "southern sun" are potential "classics"...

Posted by tsetso on Jul-30-2002 07:49:

i think that southern sun is already a classic

as for others i think dumonde - never look back is turning itself into a classic also and dont forget flesh&bones... maybe the oboe sing too

Southern Sun - Tiesto Mix
Ligaya

Unfortunately this might just be true

Posted by arrows on Jul-30-2002 11:33:

Ralphie B - Massive (Mirca de Govia Remix)
Shane-Its ToO Late To Turn AvB Remix

Posted by Acid Circus on Jul-30-2002 14:33:

Its been out a fair few months now, but it is one of the biggest tunes on Ibiza, and it will certainly be a classic:

Ferry Corsten - Punk

Posted by DJ_Skaya on Jul-30-2002 16:41:

Smiley DJ

Three Drives - carrera 2, and 4 Strings - Diving I think most definitely. Southern Sun is a given

EVERYONE check out DICK VAN NILLE - OUTSIDE/STUBBY, That one definitely has a classic sound, the only thing is I'm not sure if its 2002 or not. I'm interested in what you guys think of that one cuz I loved it and didn't hear much reply to it in the forums. Check it out for yourself in Pvd's ColumbiaHalle Essential mix

I think Janiero and ligaya and I feel you are great tracks, but they don't seem (to me) to have the classic feel....
Anyways, continue to post, maybe you'll let me in on something great I haven't heard yet
